What is the best way to clean an engine?

 I have a 2001 Honda Conform and the engine is getting a barely dirty. I want to unadulterated it. I know that i shouldnt take a pressure washer to it about certain parts you do not want to get wet. Whats the most outstanding way to clean it?

 go to parts cache, by some engine degreaser, it comes in a big aerosol can, with the motor cold, spray it on nd let it sit for about 10-15 minutes, either with a spray hose or a pressure washer rinse it off.
using a pressure washer wony distress anything as long as you dont get too tight to actually break

 So, I hardly bought this go kart forge for $75. Lucky for my dad and I we found it had a seize and rear sprocket that came with it. My dad was unpractised with the type of clutch though, we contemplate its a belt clutch. Here have a look at it:

 its a centrifigal snatch. The faster the motor spins it the sheave closes up and makes the belt tighter making it take apart the sprocket. You need a sheave on the engine, not a sprocket.the larger the sheave the less rpm's it will take to make the clutch absorb
