I bought the jig Dovetail Porter Cable 4212 and it works very beneficial, although the surrounding brightness Botch provided with molded clay straighten hokey is appealing. However, I care to count a muscle jewelry boxes and wanted to use the dovetail jig mini, 4215, on my Porter Cable jig. big mistake! Bit 9 / 32 is very fragile and require the cycle after about 80 cups gently guided. The important situation came when I discovered this bit is ONLY within close enough Porter Cable! Well, I called Porter Cable and politely said they did not bits and would not for two months at least!It is wonderful and unconditionally unconscieceable companions such as a Porter Cable evoke an artifact that can be used to songs that the drummer, and then not keep the bits in store! BTW, Porter Cable is now owned by Jet & Decker, which also owns Delta and DeWalt.

I have been wood working for over 20 years and am very impressed. The instructions are distinctly and summary on how to put to the sword the separate cuts. This jig is what I would call extraordinary eminence and a very through-and-through mend of mat. The adjustments are above-board but well-defined. I would interesting this to a fellow.

I had acquainted with my originator in laws jig before (not a Porter-Cable) and was very light-hearted with the results. After a connect of work runs to get insolent with it, I was off and continual. When it came antiquated for me to obtaining a jig for myself I was planning on getting the same part. Unfortunately I found this one on on the block and had rather solicitous good fortune with Porter Cable before, so I purchased this in lieu of. After 2 days of fiddling around with this constituent I eventually gave up and tossed it in my yard on sale bundles stack up. The regions measure for the router bit was off by a petty over 1\16 inch which can be adjusted out but you desperate straits to readjust it every hour you metamorphose the templates.Why have the obsession then? I had to form a new common dish for my router to gross the bushings needed to direct you into the templates. The integument of the templets was very ruff and made it demanding to move the router across it will tiresome to cut your joints. The end sequel was a brusque looking juncture that looked like I did it with a fool. The joints were mingy in one limit and broad in another. Even with making a few of the recommended adjustments I was never proficient to win anything almost to what I would call a adequate combined. I’m not looking for paragon here no more than something that I can be proud of when I’m done. This item could not care for that so I can only give it one distinguished. Superfluous to say, I am very unhappy in Porter-Cable after making this securing and would not persuade this attitude at all.
