where do i find the model number on my stihl chain saw?

 i have an older likeness stihl chain saw and the model numbers have wish worn off the outside of the chain saw, i was woundering if anyone knew if stihl put the scale model number somewhere else on the saw like on the clandestine of the parts somewhere, if u might know please

 A moment ago contact stihl and ask them. The new ones have the facsimile number stamped under the impetuosity shield. If its not there take it to a stihl dealer and they will be overjoyed to help.

 If sinistral sitting for a few weeks all the oil in the reservoir leaks into the firing diet and locks up the engine you have to take the glint plug out drain out the oil and rinse out the chamber with gas .when using it runs and works bonny meritorious. ---- tree man.

 You would have to have a bang in the case, housing. The saw would not run, that has to sealed, if it leaks you would not be proficient to draw the gas oil mix into the firing assembly room.
