8 gal. Campbell Hausfeld air compressor runs for about 5 sec and overload reset button pops out?

 I have an 8 gal. Campbell Hausfeld air compressor that when I turned it on it will only run for about 5 sec. and the motor shuts down and load reset button pops out. Motor will add up to on if I push the reset button and it will do the same attitude again, run for another 5 sec.

 It sounds as if you have a question with the compressor part of the system. Something is clogging the line that feeds to the air tanks. This makes the compressor believe that the tank is full to the psi you set on the gauges. Is the postal card crimped? Did you forget to captivate maintenance on the unit? If all

 The guide says i have to replace the halt valve otherwise the belt will crack again, why does it do this and how do i properly restore the check valve

 Thanks Ray, i specifically did that - replaced the check valve, then went onwards and replaced the belt. But the perform stridently snapped again the very same day. I wonder if maybe i did not tighten the corroborate valve completely.
