Does propane expire.....................................?
I bought a BERNZOMATIC torch kit about two years ago. A moment ago took it out of the package and the darn detail won't light. I hear the propane sloshing interior and there is plenty of pressure. I'm disconcerted.

I assent to with other responders that it is the torch itself that is the issue, not the propane container. Propane has a incredibly narrow flammability compass of 2.5 - 9.5. If there is too much air OR too much fuel it will not ignite.
Have you tried lighting it with a mate (don't use a cigarette lighter)
