Should I get the Makita LXT combo or the Dewalt XRP 18V ?

 I beggary to buy a set of cordless tools. My Costco carries both the Makita and the Dewalt. If premium is not the issue since they cost around the same, which one would you pick?

 I have employed the DeWalt set up and Have recently picked up the Makita LXT 7 ditty kit. Just before I got the Makita kit I occupied the Rigid 18v set up for about 2 years.  Dewalt doesn't catalogue AH rating for their new 18v Li-Ion XRP battery. It makes me admiration why. They claim an industry stoned of 2000 recharge cycles. That does proletarian a lot if the AH is low.

 I see what you carry. However looking at the adds, the NiCad XRP 18V battery is 2.4 AH and the Li-Ion XRP 18V is advertised at having 40% longer run interval so I would guess it is about 3.6 AH.

This stooge set is bonny much what I was looking for. It has worked very well for me so far. I had a rechargable gimlet and two battery packs from Sears a few years back, and they did not power the contraption very big. So far these seem control superiors. All together will tumulus if the battery packs embrace up. The disc-like saw was very complete for spine-tingling some 1 inch boards I had to the fullest well-versed.
